What it does

The front desk, without the paper pile

Six jobs your front desk does every day, each with the paperwork and the rules handled.

Paper to digital

Scan once, file it right

  • Photograph or scan paper chart pages and insurance cards straight onto the patient's file.
  • Each page shows the date it was taken, not just the day it was uploaded.
  • Filed under the wrong patient? Move it, with the reason kept.
Forms

Forms on a tablet

  • New-patient and health-history forms signed on the office tablet or the patient's phone.
  • Missing answers are sent back to the patient to fix, with a record of who asked.
  • Signed consents stay with the person who signed them.
Texting (at install)

Reminders patients can answer

  • Visit reminders under 160 characters, with your office name and phone number.
  • STOP, "quit" or "don't text me" is honored at once. Unclear replies go to a person to decide.
  • Anything marketing-like goes only to patients who signed written consent.
  • Texting runs in demo mode until your practice's texting account is registered with the carriers, which is part of your install.
Patient list

Bring your patients with you

  • Import the patient list your current program exports (CSV or delimited file).
  • It fills only the blanks and never overwrites what you already have.
  • An import can be undone within 24 hours.
Scheduling and clocks

Booked by the job, not by the half hour

  • Each procedure is booked for your minutes, and the chair is held for those plus your cleanup time. Two patients can't land in the same room.
  • One tap when a patient arrives starts the waiting clock. Past your limit it turns red, and the desk can push it back fifteen minutes after talking to them.
  • Every room keeps its own clock through seated, started and finished.
  • The time report shows what visits actually take against what they're booked for, and offers you the measured number.
  • Inbox, morning huddle and room screens come with it. Schedule and payments switch off if your current program handles them.
Records

Monthly posting and corrections

  • Last month's entries are posted automatically by the 8th.
  • After posting, a change is a correction: the original, the new version, the date, the reason, and who approved it.
  • Every correction is shown on the patient's file.

The longer walk-through

Five minutes, one whole day at the desk, in the order it happens: the schedule, a patient arriving, their file, the tablet, the treatment room, checkout, texting, confirming tomorrow, the owner's numbers, undoing a mistake, the log book and the HIPAA paperwork. Invented patients throughout.

What it doesn't do

  • It isn't a phone system. Keep the phones you have.
  • It doesn't file insurance claims. Your dental program still does that.
